This sounds a bit like an urban legend, but the
Kennebec Journal and Morning Sentinel sounds respectable enough, so here goes. A Maine woman has been charged with assault after helping her daughter bake some cookies for her teacher. The cookies, it seems,
contained Ex-Lax and were meant to gain revenge on the teacher for a bad grade. Did the prank work, at least? Not really. The teacher didn't eat the cookies, instead sharing them with members of his class, four of whom became sick. Whoops. Talk about transferred intent.
Shipoopi, shipoopi, shipoopi! ...
ReplyDeleteRevenge is only a dish BEST served cold ... or so says an old Klingon proverb.
