Dubya has finally exercised his veto, refusing to sign the stem cell research bill that overwhelmingly passed the Senate yesterday:
President Bush vetoed a bill for the first time today, using his constitutional power to reject legislation passed by Congress that would expand federal research on embryonic stem cells, a step he said would be crossing a 'moral line.'Wow. I know he's a yutz on this particular issue, but am I the only one who is surprised that Dubya found a "moral line" that he would not cross?
