Album of the Day

Yesyears, by Yes (1991): The light is certainly at the end of the tunnel, as we wade into the boxed sets. In spite of now having quite a bit of Yes on CD, there's still enough nuggets on these four discs that I don't have elsewhere to make it worthwhile. Particularly, the pre The Yes Album material is good and I even like most of disc 4, which is all Trevor Rabin era stuff. I like the pre-Anderson demos of a couple of the 90125 tunes better than the finished product. Hardly essential in these days of well-padded remasters and whatnot, however.
