There was only redeeming feature of Roadhouse, the Patrick Swayze atrocity - it helped give gifted guitarist Jeff Healey a springboard to some broader success. Healey, who was blind and shredded his Strat while it was sprawled across his lap, straddled the blues/rock divide like predecessors such as Stevie Ray Vaughn. He could rip the damn thing up. Sadly, he died yesterday in Toronto after a long battle with cancer.
RIP, Jeff.
